About Backcountry Japan
Backcountry Japan helps international skiers and snowboarders find certified local guides for backcountry skiing and ski touring across Japan. We are a matching service. Guiding is provided and carried out by independent guides, who are responsible for their services.
How we make money
Partner guides pay us a referral fee when a booking comes through us. Some links to accommodation, insurance and other services are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect which areas or guides we recommend.
Privacy
When you send a guide request we store the details you enter (name, email, trip details) so we can answer you. We share them only with the partner guides who prepare your quote. We don't sell your data. To have your data deleted, email hello@backcountry-japan.com.
